The Q Revo is an excellent option for those looking for a mid-range mop and robot vacuum. It gives a great mopping experience, but it lacks the features that make up its more expensive counterpart.

In tests it was able to remove pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium pile. It doesn't employ LIDAR however, as other models do, to identify your home.

iRobot Roomba s9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is one of the most highly-rated robots. It has a lot of features and incredible cleaning power, including an area for dirt that is built into the charging base. This robot can recognize your cleaning habits, and suggest automated schedules that will give you an effortless cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once the system is set up, you can start automatic cleaning with a single button click. You can select the general clean option that focuses on the removal of larger particles like rice and cereal. You can also choose two mappings to ensure that your home is completely cleaned.

This robot vacuum performs well on both floors with no carpet and carpets with a low pile. It sucks up large items and doesn't lose suction as rapidly as some others do and can pick up pet hair without much difficulty. It's a challenge with plush or high-pile carpets however, iRobot promises that the next models will be better.

The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that concentrates on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt an open-fronted, flat-fronted design, which will allow it to fit into walls and furniture. It's a nice improvement over the traditional hockey puck shape of the majority of robovacs. However, we found it to be marginally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also has a superior filtration system, which prevents microscopic particles and allergens recirculating within your home. We think it's a nice claim but not enough to justify a higher price.

It can then clean your entire house efficiently by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and schedule cleaning times, as well as set up virtual boundary markers, so it knows to avoid areas that need extra attention.

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum combo that comes with all the features you can want. It has an omni-rotating mop as well as a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets as well as hard floors. It's akin to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also comes with a self vacuum robot-cleaning base station that automatically cleans and empty mop pads, keeping them germ-free and ready for use again. It also comes with a sensor that recognizes obstacles better which allows it to avoid falling on furniture and other objects.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant and an app that is functional even if you are not at home. It also comes with more mopping modes and a smart routing feature that allows you to clean specific rooms or areas of your house instead of just following a specific route.

The X2 Omni is the most effective mopping robot. Its mop pads that rotate remove tough stains and its motor creates plenty of downward pressure. The vacuuming capabilities are also excellent, and it increases suction when it senses carpets to ensure thorough cleaning. It also has a huge battery that can last for weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as powerful as anything we've seen in an ordinary robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a high-end mop and robot vacuum that comes with a range of features that you don't often see on robots in this price range. It is able to build detailed floor maps, identify various flooring types and is among the few robots that automatically wash and dry its mop pads. These features are nice however they can make the L10s more of a premium category. This might make it more expensive than homeowners need.

Created to resemble a modern floor cleaner The L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device that has an elegant white finish highlighted by mirror-plated silver elements. The front of the machine has an enormous bumper that shields the furniture and vacuum cleaner when you are moving around your home. Sensors are concealed behind the front pane which helps the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, there's one button that basically is a switch for on and off. Clicking this will turn on the vacuum, and clicking it again will turn off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The central control panel includes the circular menu which lets you select cleaning modes, schedules, and preferences. The left and right buttons will open the app's settings where you can alter the way the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

Like the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technologies to map out your house. This helps the robot clean and mop efficiently, without getting stuck. The LIDAR helps the robot vacuum avoid obstacles and identify them, which is an excellent feature for homes with pets or children.

The L10s Ultra is an extremely powerful vacuum cleaner that removes 98.4% debris from our test on hardwood floors and getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice staining. Its mops are also quite efficient, clearing 98.4% of debris on our wood, tile and carpet tests. It was not as efficient in removing sand from our hard flooring or quaker oats off the carpet.
