1. Roomba S9+ from iRobot

iRobot was the first to introduce self-emptying robots in its Roomba i7. It's now taken that technology to a new level with the s9+. This flagship model may be costly, but it comes with the highest performance we've seen from any robovac and comes with upgrades that other brands can only dream of.

Then, it draws dirt into its Clean Base automatically. Then, it emptys the dirt into a large bag that you can dispose away every 60 days. This is a great option for those who want to clean their homes without touching it, but still need peace of mind knowing their home is clean of allergens and germs.

The s9+ also has advanced corner-cleaning abilities that get it closer to walls than earlier models could, and it's more adept in spot cleaning too. If it detects that a specific area requires special attention it will send it back there with a recurring schedule. If the area is filthy, the s9 will return with more powerful suction until the mess is cleared.

The s9+ can be controlled using the included app or Amazon Alexa (the s9+ is compatible with both), which allows you to provide full voice commands that include the ability to the ability to pause, stop and start. You can program the robot to start and stop its work at a certain time or let it decide when to return to its dock.

The s9+ is great on carpets that are not bare. It is able to take small pieces of debris, like rice, as well as larger objects like cereal. As with other Shark products, the IQ Robot XL has impressive suction that can easily tackle dust bunnies and pet hair. However, the iRobot is more durable, charges faster, and has similar battery power, and comes with an extensive suite of automation features that allows you to set up your home's coverage map using no-go zones.

4. Eufy 11S

The Eufy 11S is a great choice for people who want an automated vacuum that can clean on their schedule but do not require a smartphone or voice control. This slim robot is simple to set up and maintain and it can easily clean dirt and dust. It is recommended for light daily cleanings to keep your floors looking fantastic.

It's not as impressive than the other top choices in our vacuums testing program, but it still offers certain advantages that are worth considering. Its short stature allows it to be able to maneuver under furniture with low profile that other vacuums are unable to. It also has a very efficient 'Quick Cleaning' mode that uses multiple passes to keep your floors as clean as possible. However the iRobot is more durable and has a longer maximum battery life, and picks up more dirt and dust than the Eufy. It is also simpler to maintain and has fewer ongoing costs. It also has more features for automation. The companion app is better, offering more useful details about the vacuum's battery level and status.

5. Ecovacs Deebot Pro+

This vacuum may appear like other models on the market but it has some clever tricks in its bag. You can use the app to regulate the power levels of mops, vacuums, and even set your preferences.
