This was a bit quicker than the X1 Omni circular pads which rotate at a rate of 180 rotations per minute. The S7 Max Ultra’s ReactiveAI 2.0 obstruction recognition system is very good. In our tests, it never got stuck on anything and avoided power cords, curtains, and other potential obstructions 100% of the time.

2. Narwal Freo

Vacuuming and mopping your floors is a chore that we all hate, but are necessary for maintaining a clean home. It's also a messy, and often stinky task, which can be a challenge to get done as it involves cleaning up the dustbins and water and making sure that debris or hair doesn't get stuck in the traps or brushes. This is why mopping and vacuuming robots are becoming so popular. However, a lot of these products still require you to manually empty the dust bin and wash and rinse the mop pads. This can be a hassle, especially if it's necessary to do this several times during or after cleaning sessions. This is why we're pleased to learn that a variety of manufacturers are introducing self-emptying robotics that make the whole process much more hassle-free.

The Narwal Freo is the latest model in this category of robotic cleaners. It is equipped with a variety of new sensors, software, and hardware improvements engineered to keep it at the top of its game. The patent-pending DirtSense Technology and the Smart-Swing feature both work to better detect the surface being cleaned, and automatically adjust the cleaning mode according to the type of floor. The Narwal Freo also does a decent job of keeping its noise lower when it's working, coming in at only 64dB in suction mode. However, maintaining the Freo isn't a breeze as it is necessary to clean various components, such as the main brush roll and side brushes.

3. Ecovacs Deebot T9+

The Ecovacs Deebot T9+ (available at The Good Guys for $1279) is one of the most efficient self-emptying robot vacuum and mop combos on the market. It can map out your home and vacuum and mop while avoiding obstructions and avoiding them. It can even spew out an air freshener which is a cool feature.

The app creates a digital map of your home which you can use to tidy. It's easy to set up. You can then make use of the app to choose specific rooms or custom areas to clean. You can also choose the time you would like to begin cleaning so that your floors get cleaned while you are asleep or away.

The iRobot Combo j7+ is an excellent robot for cleaning floors. It is a vacuum cleaner and mop in one. It has excellent navigation and obstacle avoidance. This allows it to identify your home and clean areas without smacking into furniture or walls. It's also easy to use the app to create zones that need to be cleaned or ones that you'd like to keep clear of and set up specific no-mop or no-sweep boundaries.

IRobot's iAdapt technology 2.0 is a significant element that makes Combo j7+ smart. The front camera on most of the robots made by iRobot is used to stay clear of dangers like pet waste and power cords. Additionally the iAdapt 2.0 allows the Combo J7+ to detect dirt levels and target these areas more than other.
