Narwal Robot Vacuum and Mop

A relative newcomer to the robot vacuum space, Narwal offers a sweeping and mopping combination that's impressive. It's costly and is hindered by a clunky, steeply learning-curve application.

To mop, clean drop a detergent sheet into the base station's clean water tank. Then it wands the pads using clean water, and scrubs floors using 10N of pressure.

Features

The Narwal T10 is a combination robot vacuum and mop that can sweep clean, scrub, and scrub hard floors. Its smart navigation and mapping system is based on simultaneous localization and Clean mapping (SLAM) technology. It also features anti-collision and cliff sensing technologies that help prevent the machine from colliding into furniture or falling down stairs. It also detects and avoid rugs. This is a typical problem with many robot vacuums/mops/hybrids.

The shark ion robot vacuum has two huge tanks of water: one for clean water and another for dirty. When it's time to mop, it automatically goes to its base station and pre-soaks its pads with the clean water from the tank. During the mopping run sensors notify you when it's time to swap pads and refill the water. It consumes 16 ounces of clean water, which is lower than the majority of comparable robots.

Performance

The Narwal Freo is a fantastic robot that does a fantastic job of cleaning hard floors. The huge water tanks of the Narwal Freo are easy to maintain, and it comes with a variety of mopping intensity settings. It also has the ability to clean up small spills and messes on carpet. The vacuuming abilities are less impressive. Its 1,800Pa suction power is less than expensive robo-vacuums, like the Roborock S6 MaxV Ultra.

Smart technology for navigation and mapping enables the Freo to adjust to an area and plan a cleaning routine that is optimized. It uses simultaneous mapping and localization (SLAM) in order to create an area map and then operates in a zigzag style so as to avoid cross-contamination and provide a uniform finish. It then shares this map with the narwal app, which allows you to modify cleaning settings and establish no-go zones that will stop it from sweeping or mopping certain areas.

Once the Freo has been identified and mapped, it will continue cleaning the area it left. The mops of the Freo are self-cleaning, and return to their dock for washing after every use. This saves time, and it keeps hands out of contact with allergens and dirt. The Freo also helps conserve water by using only 16 oz per mopping cycle. This is the same amount of water as in a large coffee cup.

The robot is able to easily change between vacuuming and mopping, so it's the ideal choice for people who have both flooring in their homes. It has excellent sweeping capabilities and does a good job picking up pet hair and other particles. The Freo's dual side brushes enable it to get into corners better than single-brush vacs. Additionally, its cliff-sensing and anti-collision functions assist in preventing it from slipping down stairs or running into furniture.

The Narwal T10 is more expensive than the majority of its rivals, despite being a good vacuum/mop combination. Its base station is home to two 1.3 gallon tanks that require frequent refills. This can be very frustrating, especially if your robot has a tank that fills faster.
