The Q Revo is a great choice if you're looking for a mid-range mop and robot vacuum. It provides a fantastic mopping experience but lacks the advanced features of its more expensive sibling.

In tests, it was able remove pet hair and dry oats out of medium-pile carpets. It does not use LIDAR however, as other models do, to locate your home.

1. Roomba S9+ from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top-rated robot mop vacuum vacuums. It is a powerful cleaner and plenty of features such as an automatic dirt bin built into its charging base. This robot can also learn your cleaning habits and suggest automatic schedules for a truly hands-free experience.

The setup process is simple thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the procedure. Once the system is set up you can begin the automated cleaning with a single button press. You can choose the general clean option that focuses on the removal of larger debris such as rice and cereal. You can also select two detailed mappings to ensure that the entire home is completely cleaned.

This robot vacuum performs well on both floors with no carpet and carpets with a low pile. It is able to take large objects and doesn't lose suction as rapidly as some others do, and it can even pick up pet hair with ease. It's a challenge with high-pile carpets or plush carpets however, iRobot claims that future models will be more efficient.

The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that is focused on enhancing the edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted, Robot vacuum deals D-shaped design, which it hopes will allow it to fit into walls and furniture. It's an improvement over the hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are standard, but we found it to be only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims that the S9+ has an advanced filtering system that blocks tiny dust particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. We think this is a nice statement, but not enough to justify a premium price.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors to keep track of the arrangement of your home and vSLAM to map your interior. The iRobot Home app lets you manage the robot and plan cleaning times, and create virtual boundaries, so it can recognize areas that need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robot that combines mopping and vacuuming. Its vacuum settings are as effective as those of more expensive models and its mopping feature is superior, as its spinning pads do a more impressive job of cleaning your floors than a stationary vibration pad.

The only issue is the absence of a second brush to allow for deeper cleaning. However, that's not a major issue for those who want to own one of the best robots on the market. The dust tank of the robo-vac is larger than many of its competitors and filling it up takes only two or three times, even when you have maximum dirt.

As for the mopping device, I was awestruck by its ability to scrub hard-to-clean dirt from my floors. Its two lowest mopping modes, which are less aggressive than the high-powered ones, generate very little noise, which allows you to work or watch television without interruption. It will gently hit a wall or furniture and move on if it comes across one.

What makes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to run nearly autonomously with very little need for human intervention. The robo-vac comes with a multi-function dock that can automatically transfer physical trash to the bin hidden from view and also cleans and drys the mop pads and refills its clean water tank. The app is adept at nagging you only when something requires attention, for example, the water tank that is running out of clean or a scheduled vacuuming session being cancelled due to a stuffed dust bin.

You can also create and merge actual rooms to customize the way that Q Revo manages your home. That's a handy feature for those who have multiple areas of the home with different flooring materials or there's clutter that must be removed frequently, such as clothes, toys and books. The robot vacuum was also among the top performers in my test cleaning up debris from both carpets as well as hardwood floors on the first pass. It can even clean up spills that are wet, though I recommend drying them with a cloth before sending the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a top-quality robot Vacuum deals vacuum and mop combo and more. The X2 Omni is the most effective mopping performance of any robot we've tested thanks to its rotating mop pads that clean tough stains away and a motor that generates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding too and it enhances suction when it detects carpet to ensure it does an excellent job. It also has a huge battery that can last for weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as efficient as the ones we've seen on an ordinary robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a top-quality model that offers a number of convenience features not often found on robots in this price range. It is able to create detailed floor maps and identify different flooring types. It's also among the only robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. Although these features are nice to have, they also put the L10s Ultra in the luxury category, which might make it a little more expensive than the average homeowner require.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It's tall and slim with a white finish accented with silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by an enormous bumper that helps protect the vacuum and furniture from damage when moving through the house. Sensors are concealed behind the front pane, which helps the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum, there is a single button which acts as an on/off switch.
